About Arab America Foundation

The Arab America Foundation is a non-profit (501c3) educational and cultural organization based in Washington, DC, dedicated to promoting Arab heritage and empowering Arab Americans across the nation. The Foundation operates through comprehensive initiatives designed to celebrate Arab American identity, educate the broader American public about Arab culture, and foster meaningful connections within and beyond the Arab American community. The Arab America Foundation's primary service focuses on coordinating National Arab American Heritage Month (NAAHM) each April, a nationwide campaign that works with school districts, municipalities, county and state governments, and law enforcement agencies to gather proclamations and resolutions that promote an accurate narrative of Arab American history, culture, and identity. Beyond heritage promotion, the Foundation operates several professional empowerment initiatives including 40 Under 40, 30 Under 30, Rising Leaders, and Empowered Women of Arab America. These programs spotlight accomplished professionals across diverse fields—education, law, public service, politics, non-profit leadership, business, entrepreneurship, engineering, medicine, arts, entertainment, writing, and media. By connecting Arab Americans to each other and to diverse organizations throughout the United States, the Arab America Foundation serves as the nation's only non-sectarian organization exclusively dedicated to promoting Arab American heritage and culture. The Foundation leverages multiple platforms including its website, email network (Arab America E-News), and social media to reach institutions, organizations, and communities committed to understanding and celebrating Arab American contributions to American society.
